Tehran, November 26 (MRUD NEWS)—The 30th International Union of Railways, Regional Assembly of the Middle East (UIC RAME) is held online.
In the meeting, the performance of UIC in the Middle East was assessed and the budget for next three years was approved.
Iran representative, Houssein Ashouri, attended the meeting in Abu Dhabi. In the meeting, he called for increasing the UIC’s budget for doing studies and developing international cooperation.
During the meeting, Oman Rail and Etihad Rail also joined the Assembly.
Further, the draft of the UIC Middle East Rail Vision 2050 was shared by the International Electrical Commission (IEC), as the UIC’s consulting company, as to get feedbacks from members.
